Our Mission
BraveBound is being created to help Australian Shepherds, Border Collies, and their mixes find safety, stability, and a new beginning. Our vision is a foster-based rescue built around thoughtful placements, transparent decisions, and long-term support for the dogs and people involved.
Foster-first
A home-based model designed around approved foster placements—not a physical shelter.
Responsible growth
We intend to build funding, veterinary partnerships, and foster capacity before beginning intake.

Approach
Our planning emphasizes safe placements, realistic capacity, and a sustainable financial foundation before any dog enters our care.
We’re building responsibly before opening our doors.
Thoughtful matching
We aim to match dogs with suitable foster homes and, eventually, adopters prepared for their needs.
Individual care
Medical and behavioral needs will be reviewed case by case within our resources and foster capacity.
Sustainable rescue
Our goal is to build a stable program that does not depend on emergency personal debt or constant crisis fundraising.
